I'm glad you are in a union. They will ensure your rights are upheld. I have been a member of my union (not sure if we are allowed to advertise on here so won't name them) for 3 years and they were absolutely brilliant when I had to take 7 weeks off work when I first became il earlier this year. The meetings at work with a Human Resources official and my boss would have been so much more traumatic had it not been for the tremendous support of the regional officer and his secretary. I really felt like I had a big protective brother in there with me. In the event the other parties were very reasonable about it all. Good luck.....I know what a struggle it is trying to cope with this horrible illness and stay in work too.
Best wishes from Naomi.

Hi Audrey,

Good for you!!!

I like you have a tribunal claim going through at the moment which was for Bullying and Harassment at work. They then decided to dismiss me last month, I have appealed not heard anything about that yet, but that will then be another claim for unfair dismissal. It's been very hard and the reason I was off this time was because of my employer's treatment regards to the grievance that I raised last year.

I just want it all over now.......so that I can move on.

So glad that you are standing your ground with them, proud of you!!!!!

Love Michelle.x.
